A family fun day in memory of Marianne Haboc will take place at Empire in Rochdale on Sunday 25 November.
10-year-old Marianne Haboc was tragically killed in a collision on Taylor Street on 1 October 2018. A talented member of Rochdale Gymnastics Club since 2014, Marianne was also a year six pupil at St Patrick’s RC Primary School.
The event will take place three days after what would have been the little girl’s 11th birthday.
Michelle Mulcahy, who has helped organise the day, said: “On 22 November 2007, Marianne Joy came into this world a premature miracle baby. On 1 October 2018, she was tragically taken away. No parents should have to bury a child.
“Marianne's parents want her legacy to live on so this day will be all about her. Let's show her mum and dad that we care for them.”
