It is the official end of British Summer Time (BST) this weekend.

BST ends at 2.00am on Sunday 28 October, so clocks need to go back an hour to 1.00am to revert to Greenwich Mean Time.

In the UK the clocks go forward one hour at 1.00am on the last Sunday in March, and back one hour at 2.00am on the last Sunday in October.

The period when the clocks are one hour ahead is called British Summer Time (BST).

There is more daylight in the evenings and less in the mornings (sometimes called Daylight Saving Time).

When the clocks go back, the UK is on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Clocks will go forward again on Sunday 31 March 2019.
