Christ Church, Healey is commemorating the end of WW1 with a number of special services and bellringing.
On Sunday 4 November there will be a WW1 Commemorative service at 3.00pm, ‘There but not there’.
This service commemorates all those who lost their lives in WW1. There will be particular reference to those from local parishes.
On Remembrance Sunday, 11 November, Christ Church, Healey will be ringing their church bells at 12.45pm, as part of a nationwide ringing to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.
The church is also looking for any WW1 and WW2 memorabilia items that can be put on display on Remembrance Sunday.
