Big band night raises funds for St Andrew's, Dearnley

A big band night at St Andrew's, Dearnley raised more than £850 for church funds.
Parishioners were entertained by 'Duke's Road', a four-piece band from Wigan which has raised more than £40,000 for churches and charities in the last few years.
It was the band's fifth visit to St Andrew's over the last five years and the £853 raised was a record for the annual event, beating last year's figure by more than £100.
The next big fund-raiser at St Andrew's will be the Autumn Fair on Saturday 10 November (11am to 1pm).
