Cat shot in Middleton
Date published: 12 October 2018
A cat is fighting for its life after being shot in the stomach in Middleton on Friday (12 October).
Currently being treated at Vets 4 Pets in Middleton, vets are uncertain if the unfortunate feline has been targeted with a pellet gun when she was attacked in the Dalton Road area, Rhodes.
A spokesperson for the RSPCA Rochdale Animal Centre said: “A member of our shop staff has just informed us that his mum’s cat has been shot in the stomach.
“The poor cat managed to get herself home but is now at the vets fighting for her life.
“If anyone has any information, please report to us in confidence.”
