Sudden increase in crime in Bamford

There has been a sudden rise in crime in Bamford, police have warned.
In particular, Spring Bank Lane has been targeted with two reports between 8 and 9 October and one attempted burglary in the early hours of 10 October.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “There has been a sudden rise in burglaries and theft of motor vehicles in your area, in particular Spring Bank Lane area.
“We want to assure you we are doing everything in our power to apprehend the offenders and bring them to justice.
"Be vigilant and report any suspicious circumstances. If you think you are witnessing a crime, dial 999 immediately."
