Former director of Climb Rochdale to sign the sex offenders' register for 10 years

A former director of a Rochdale climbing centre has been ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for 10 years after he was sentenced at Preston Crown Court on Monday (8 October).
Terance Gerard Myles (DOB: 11/10/1978), the former director of Climb Rochdale, also received a sentence of 30-days’ rehabilitation, plus a three-year community order after pleading guilty to three counts of child sex offence.
Myles pleaded guilty to two counts of attempting to arrange or facilitate the commission of a child sex offence, and one count of attempting to cause a child aged 13-15 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity.
The offences took place between September 2016 and January 2017.
Climb Rochdale, formerly located on School Lane, closed suddenly in January 2017.
