£1000 reward offered for recovery of stolen van

Philip Jesson of Worldwide Recycling in Smallbridge is offering a reward of £1,000 for the recovery of the vehicle and contents of a vehicle, a Mercedez Sprinter 312D LWB, registration number P895 UYG, stolen from the company yard on Dye House Lane on Friday 17 July.
Mr Jesson has explained he does not belive this was a random theft of a vehicle because several vehicles in the yard in front of the missing vehicle, he believes the vehicle was taken to order and somebody knows something about it. He thinks the vehicle is stored somewhere as one of the itmes in the van when it was stolen is a 22kva generator which will need a fork lift truck to lift it.
Other contents of the van were:
- 2 x ricoh photo copiers (new)
- 1 x lyf1200 generator (new)
- 1 x Kubota 22kva generator
- 1 x Kubota a1800 generator
- 1 x sipt 2400 generator
- 1 x Mitsubishi car parts
As the goods where booked on a ship to go to Africa and were not insured in the UK, Worldwide Recycling now has a bill to replace them for the customer.
The vehicle stolen was valued at £2,000 and the contents valued at £5,000.
