Rochdale Unitarian Church

Date published: 10 October 2018

On Saturday 13 October, Rochdale Unitarians are holding our Autumn Lunch event from 11.45am, with tombola, jewellery, and card stalls. This promises to be fun-filled afternoon with good food and good company. Funds raised will go towards supporting the ongoing repair and refurbishment of the church roof.

On Sunday 14 October, we welcome Jean Longworth from Bolton to lead morning worship with us from 10.30 am. There will be the opportunity for discussion and light refreshments after the service. All are welcome to join us.

Monday 15 October sees the return of The Special Events Meeting at 7.30pm. Members of Church Council and the congregation are encouraged to come along, as this is where we will be agreeing the dates for major church events in 2019.

Wednesday 17 October is our congregational outing to see the Terracotta Warriors in Liverpool. For those travelling by train, we will be taking the 10.49 from Rochdale Station to Victoria – so don’t be late! If anyone is willing to car-share then please let Joyce Ashworth know asap. We are all looking forward to this grand day out!

On Sunday 21 October Abi Elliott-McGuffie is leading worship with us from 10.30am. Tea, coffee and light refreshment are available after the service, as well as the opportunity for fellowship and discussion. Everybody who wishes to join us will be made most welcome.
