Siblings to stand trial next year after Castleton stabbing

Two siblings will stand trial in February 2019 after a man was stabbed in Castleton in September.
Dean Michael Moores (DOB 12/06/1981) of Sudden, and his sister Stacey Cregan (DOB 14/11/1986), of Droylsden, both appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on Wednesday 3 October in connection with the incident.
A man was taken to hospital with stab wounds after walking into a shop on Manchester Road in Castleton on 5 September.
The two have been charged with assisting an offender, grievous bodily harm and producing a class B drug.
Moores has been remanded into custody, whilst Cregan has been granted bail.
The trial has been given a date of 19 February 2019.
