Rochdale man sentenced to eight years in prison

A Rochdale man has been sentenced to eight years in prison after he appeared at Bradford Crown Court on Friday (28 September).
Ayaz Hussain (DOB: 29/09/1989) was guilty of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and racially/religiously aggravated harassment/alarm/distress following an incident on 24 March 2018.
Hussain, and his partner, Lianna Ahmed, are understood to have attacked a 16-year-old girl with a baseball bat after chasing her in Shipley, Bradford.
The teenager is understood to have suffered two head wounds.
