Give children at the Royal Oldham Children's Unit the best possible Christmas
Date published: 01 October 2018
Staff at the Royal Oldham Children’s Unit are fundraising to give their young patients unable to go home during the festive season the best possible Christmas.
Donations will go towards making the ward look beautiful with decorations, giving the children a present at Christmas, plus biscuits and other treats.
Staff have also secured a visit from a magician and a children's entertainer on the run up to the festive season.
Staff member Amanda Roberts said: “We are fundraising to provide a magical stay on the unit for children who have to stay in hospital at Christmas and their families.
“We are also looking for any donations of decorations, sweets and treats from local businesses.”
