Local primary school features in latest edition of The Parliamentary Review

Date published: 28 September 2018

A local primary school has featured in the latest edition of The Parliamentary Review.

Bowlee Park Community Primary School, one of the largest primary schools in Greater Manchester, has achieved excellence and has maintained an outstanding rating from Ofsted since 2010.

In the review article, it is explained how this has been achieved this.

The Parliamentary Review allows for in-depth reflection of how legislation has impacted organisations across the UK, it also serves an important resource for policy development.

The prime minister's foreword sets the scene for legislative development over the coming year alongside vital insight from both the private and public sector across a range of policy departments.

After a year of progress for the education sector, The Parliamentary Review outlines areas of excellence and relevant issues for teachers, communities and policymakers alike.

These are featured alongside commentary on the sector from former education secretary and Review chairman Lord Blunkett.

Daniel Yossman, executive director of The Parliamentary Review, has praised this year's Review as one not to be missed: "With representatives from across the country coming together to raise standards and share best practice, this year's Review provides some of the shrewdest reading for politicians, educators, and business leaders alike."

Writing in The Review, the prime minister says that "Our modern Industrial Strategy means government stepping up to secure the foundations of our productivity: providing an education system that delivers the skills our economy needs, improving school standards, and transforming technical education."
