World War One Remembrance 100 years on tour

Poppy wreaths at Rochdale Cenotaph
The Todmorden Branch of the Fusilier Association Lancashire Fusiliers) are to celebrate the end of World War One on Friday 9 November with ‘The Return Tour.’
Tod Pals 6th Battalion Lancashire will be in authentic World War One uniforms and intend to tour the association area, passing through Rochdale, where they will lay wreaths at each site.
They will begin at Drill Hall, Bury, before meeting at Gallipoli Garden for a Remembrance Service.
The Lancashire Fusilier Tram will take them to Manchester Victoria, where they will lay a wreath at ‘the Hell’s Gate.’
They will then travel to Salford Crescent and the Shouting Fusilier, before heading to the Rochdale cenotaph to lay a wreath at around 2pm.
They will then return to Todmorden for refreshments at Todmorden United Services Club.
