Middleton care home wins Daisy Award

Date published: 25 September 2018

A Middleton care home has received an outstanding accreditation for the high quality of care it provides.

Hulton Care Home scooped the nationally renowned Daisy Award with a stunning 100% rating.

Hulton Care Home, which is located at Clarke Brow in Middleton, provides a mixture of residential, nursing and respite care. It received a good rating in the latest Care Quality Commission inspection.

Ellen Stack, deputy manager and clinical lead at the home, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the Daisy Award, as we always aspire to provide the highest standard of care. None of this would have been possible without a wonderful team of hardworking staff.

"Our Daisy Accreditation is proudly on show in our reception area so families and friends of residents can immediately see our nationally recognised award.”

Daisy Award is a national scheme that enables organisations to demonstrate they have met high care standards.
