The Rochdale Borough Council apprenticeship team were winners at the North West regional finals of the National Apprenticeship Awards held at the Manchester Marriott Victoria and Albert Hotel.
The team, one of only two local authorities to make it to the finals, ran out winners in the Macro Employer of the Year and the Recruitment Excellence Awards.
Councillor John Blundell, cabinet member for skills and employment, said: “This a fantastic achievement and is yet another great success story for Rochdale and our apprenticeship programme.
"I am so proud of the hard work and dedication the team, and the council as a whole, puts in to apprenticeships and supporting the future workforce, these wins reflect that work.”
The team will now go forward to the national finals of the Apprenticeship Awards, which will be held in November.
