Clue-Doh! Multi Room Murder Mystery Event
Over 100 people turned supersleuth for a murder mystery at Rochdale Town Hall on Friday (14 September).
Hosted by After Dark and Mystery Events, an excellent ‘Clue-Doh’ evening was had by all, everyone had the opportunity to question the suspects, find the clues and solve the crime.
Each character situated in a different room, families took on a journey through several locations in the Town Hall, including The Great Hall and Council Chambers, searching for suspects and exploring the evidence.
Throughout the evening, guests had a hot supper and refreshments from the Zodiac bar.
Graham Rohrer, Amanda Huntback and six-year-old Jack Huntback said: “This is the first time we have entered an event like this.
“It has been a fantastic evening, a great family night out, and we’re look forward to future events.”
Holding the engraved winner’s plate, Jack added: “I can’t wait for show and tell at school.”
Sue Taylor, Rochdale Borough Council events manager, said: “After Dark Murder and Mystery Events’ hosting a ‘Clue-Doh’ multi room murder mystery family event, this evenings event is maximising the use of the building, enjoyed by families working together to solve the mystery, it has been hugely successful and will be the first of many more.”
Charlotte Preston, events manager, said: “This is our first event and over 100 attended, it is an excellent opportunity to have some fun and be able to walk freely around our magnificent Town Hall.”
Tom Fisher, After Dark Murder and Mystery Events owner, commented: “This event has been shown all over the country, but nowhere as majestic as Rochdale Town Hall, what a fabulous setting, we are really looking forward to the next event.”
