Boy drowns in Watergrove

Shortly after 4pm on Sunday 27 July 2008, police received a report of a 13-year-old boy missing from his home on Green Meadow, Rochdale.
Officers attended and enquiries led to a Watergrove reservoir being searched.
The body of the boy was recovered and inquiries into how he came to be in the water are ongoing.
