Holy Communion at Christ Church, Healey this Sunday, 2 September, is at 10.00am The Rev. Andrew Howell followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall, there is no Sunday School.

Morning Prayer at Christ Church, Healey is on Friday at 8.15am.

Pastoral Care - In the quiet prayer corner in church there is now an opportunity for your personal prayers to be left in the box provided. These prayers will be said at morning prayer that week. Please feel free to use this area and any of the items left on the tables. Pam or Ruth will always be available to listen and pray.

Prayers for the sick - Every month there will be a new list at the back of the church. If you would like us to pray this coming month (September) for someone please add their name to the list. This will now change Monthly. Thank you.

Forthcoming Events

Craft & Coffee Morning - Friday 31 August 10am – 12noon. If you fancy a bit of company. If you like chat or enjoy a variety of crafts on the go then pop in and join us. We would love to see you.

Rydal Hall - 14-16 September, there is a list on the church notice board with details of those going to Rydal Hall. Please indicate on the list when your final payment has been made.

Heritage Open Days - 6 to 9 September. It’s that time of year again. On Saturday 8 September this year we have Mrs Beatons WW1 Afternoon Tea and music to entertain. Please get your Tickets now. They are £4 for adults, children free. If you could meet and greet in church on any of the days, please speak to Ruth after the service.

200 Club - The 200 club will restart on September 2. There are numbers still available for anyone to join, Friends and Family. There will be a weekly £10 prize and twice a year a £50 prize. Alison Williams will be in touch when everything is in place.

Rochdale Foodbank - Donations for the Foodbank required please. Long life Milk, Coffee, Sugar, Pasta, Packet Soups, Toothpaste & brushes. Toiletries.

Christ Church Parent and Toddler Group - Closed for the summer holidays. Will reopen Tuesday 4 September. Then Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9.15am – 11.15am.
