Taxi windows smashed by youths

A taxi has had all its windows smashed by youths during the early hours of the morning.

The black car was smashed by a number of youths in Middleton at around 5am on Wednesday morning (22 August), leaving the windows shattered or badly cracked.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “We were called shortly before 5.15am to reports that a group of youths had smashed the windows of a car on the street before fleeing down Cleworth Road.

“No arrests have been made and enquiries remain ongoing.”
