Karen Hayday, Hourglass Director said: “The Growth Project is run by Hourglass and has around 20 volunteers a day who are referred by Rochdale and District Mind who come together to pool their skills and experience to design and build beautiful gardens.

“All the vegetables grown on the site are organic and are taken home by the beneficiaries which means that they are kept in fruit and veg for a large part of the year.”

The day raised over £800 for the National Garden Scheme charities and the project itself.”
