A family fundraiser to celebrate the life of Simon Field will take place at Empire, Rochdale on Saturday 25 August.
Mr Field died suddenly at the age of 37 on Thursday 9 August, leaving behind his partner and a young daughter.
Auctions and a tombola will be held throughout the day from 12pm until 6pm, with free activities for young children.
Family friend Jonny Bradley, who had known Mr Field since he was just three, said: “As a means to support the family and reduce some of the financial pressures at this difficult time, Simon's family and friends are holding a fundraiser to celebrate his life.
“We have already received a wonderful amount of support from our local businesses, friends and families.
“It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can offer any item or voucher which could be used on the day.”
If you can donate towards the fundraiser, please email: jonny_bradley@hotmail.co.uk
