Man arrested at Heywood cannabis farm ‘entered the UK illegally’

164 cannabis plants were found earlier this week
A man arrested at a cannabis farm in Heywood on Monday (6 August) has been handed to the immigration services by police.
Over 160 plants were found being cultivated at the property.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed: “The male arrested at the cannabis farm on Monday this week was found to have entered the UK illegally and has been handed over to the immigration services for deportation proceedings.”
