Surveyors Ryan White, Ryan Robson, and Katie Fletcher, are celebrating after all achieving first class degrees.

The trio graduated with first class degrees on Friday 20 July, having studied for Bachelor of Science with honours degrees in building surveying from the University of Central Lancashire.

The courses have been funded by RBH as part of the mutual housing society’s ongoing commitment to the personal and professional development of employees.

Katie Fletcher said: “We are all really proud of what we have achieved. After three years of learning, assignments and exams, it’s rewarding to know that all the hard work has paid off.

"We are extremely grateful to RBH for funding our degrees and giving us the time to develop ourselves personally and professionally. It’s been a challenging but enjoyable experience and we are already putting the skills and knowledge we have learnt to good use in our role as surveyors.

"It was great that we were able to undertake the experience together and spur each other on. At the start of the course it was difficult to imagine how we would get to the end, but we got through it together and I’d like to think that we have done ourselves and RBH proud.”

Katie also received three additional awards as part of her degree course. She was awarded the school of engineering prize for best performing building surveying student, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors best building surveying student prize, and the Chartered Institute of Building certificate of excellence for best student performance and achievement.

Clare Tostevin, RBH director of growth, said: “Ryan, Katie, and Ryan have all worked extremely hard and we are extremely proud of their achievements.

"We are really pleased to be able to support the professional development of the team, and we know that they are already putting the skills and experience they have gained into practice for the benefit of our communities”.
