Elderly woman taken to hospital after collision in Norden

An elderly woman was taken to hospital following a collision in Norden during Sunday evening (29 July).
A blue Ford Fiesta and a blue Fiat Punto collided on Edenfield Road, near Norden Methodist Church, at around 6pm.
The woman travelling in the Punto, believed to be in her 70s, was taken to Royal Oldham Hospital after being treated at the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Police were called at around 6.15pm on Sunday 29 July to reports of a road traffic collision on Edenfield Road, Rochdale.
“A blue Ford Fiesta was in collision with a blue Fiat Punto near Norden Methodist Church and a woman travelling in the Punto was taken to hospital.”
