A 45 day consultation has been launched as Rochdale Borough Council aims to save a further £3.6 million.
The latest budget savings proposals were considered by the Council cabinet when it met on Tuesday evening.
The proposals will now go forward for a 45-day consultation which runs from 9am on Friday 27 July until 5pm on Monday 10 September. The current budget gap for 2019/20 is estimated to be £3.6 million and further savings need to be made for 2019/20 so the council can set a balanced budget.
Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Councillor Allen Brett, said: “These are proposals - not decisions, so we want to hear our residents' views.
"As always, we continue to look for ways to reduce spending or increase income which have the least impact on frontline service delivery. Savings continue to be made as part of day-to-day improvements in the way we operate, but the funding we receive from central government has significantly reduced while the cost of services and the demand for them has increased, so tough decisions still need to be made.
"We welcome our residents thoughts on how can achieve savings."

The Cabinet will meet on 30 October to consider the consultation responses before final decisions are made at the Budget Council in February 2019.
