The annual Middfest attracted hundreds of people of all ages on Sunday.
Children were encouraged to come dressed as superheroes with members of Middleton Round Table giving out goodie bags to all children in fancy dress.
Activities included ball games, paintball range, circus skills to learn, crazy golf, fencing, face painting and a funfair.
For the first time this year there was also a family dog show, with entries from some very excitable dogs and owners.
Middleton Rotary Club gave free books to children, as part of the Buzzing Book Bonanza.
There was a competition for dance troupes, which had come from all over the UK to perform.
There were charity stalls for local groups and organisations helping them to raising awareness and funds for their activities.
Stars of the show were the Xtreme Stunt Team, doing stunts on an off-road motor bike and a BMX stunt bike, which the crowds thoroughly enjoyed.
With music, bands, choirs and children singers on the stage in between other acts, along with the usual beer tent.
There was even a vegetarian caterer, The Quirky Trailer from The Flying Horse providing an alternative to the usual hotdogs and beef burgers.
Peter Shore, from Middleton Round Table, said: "It has been a great day, with lots of families joining in the fun. I am really proud that Middleton Round Table can put this event on to benefit the community and all the voluntary groups which have stalls to either raise some money or just let people know what they do.
"The dog show has gone really well, with lots of entries, I think we may make it bigger next year.
"This is my last year organising this event, I am handing it over to younger Round Table members next year for them to organise and maybe add their own ideas to the event. I have been involved with Middleton Round Table for over 30 years.
"I want to thank everyone who’s been involved this year for all their help and support."
