Wajahat Javid Kingsway Spelling Bee Competition winner

Wajahat Javid was the winner of the annual Kingsway Park High School Spelling Bee Competition.

Students from Years 7, 8 and 9 participated in the event along with students from Sandbrook Primary School, parents, carers and staff were invited to watch the competition.

The Spelling Bee is a competition in which students are asked to spell a wide selection of words, with some degree of difficulty.

Mrs Durrans and Mrs O’Neill, literacy co-ordinators, said: “Congratulations go to Wajahat, he has worked extremely hard over the last few months practising his spellings to win this competition.”
