Tim Bobbin returns to Milnrow

This Tuesday (22 July), Milnrow plays host to a Tim Bobbin conference to be held as part of the Tim Bobbin Festival.
The event starts at 7.30pm at Butterworth Hall with guest speakers Robert Poole, a reader in History at Lancaster University, and Lancashire dialect speaker Sid Calderbank.
Tim Bobbin Festival Co-ordinator, Nick Andrews said: “It will be both an interesting and entertaining evening. This is one of many events and activities taking place over the coming months to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Tim Bobbin."
The Tim Bobbin festival is a series of events and activities taking place up to December this year. The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of Tim Bobbin and his contribution to storytelling and Lancashire dialect.
