The netball team at Bowlee Park School won the netball event in this year's St. Anne’s Cup on Tuesday.
The year five and six girls finished the night unbeaten, after securing wins against St John Thornham Primary, Parkfield Primary and Hollin Primary.
Marcos Walsh, Bowlee’s PE Coordinator, said: “Congratulations, a huge well done to all of the girls involved and a big thank you to Miss Stafford for her work with the girls this year.”
Proud parent Emma Scott said: “We couldn't be more proud of you girls. Your team work and commitment to the sport and one another is outstanding, you should be very proud of yourselves.
“I'm sure everyone would agree that Bowlee Netball wouldn't be the same or even exist the way it does if it wasn't for their coach, Miss Stafford.
“Adele has given these girls an opportunity to be part of something truly amazing and to see her back them the way she does is so lovely. These girls have grown in confidence, self-esteem and have learnt many skills and knowledge. I'm so thankful for Adele being such a positive role model in my daughter’s life.”
