Men in court after rape charge

Two people have been charged after a 17-year-old girl was repeatedly raped in Rochdale on Saturday 5 July.
25 year-old Mohammed Ali of Holland Street, Rochdale, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with rape and went before magistrates in Rochdale yesterday morning (Wednesday 16 July).
The victim had been walking close to the Lidl supermarket on Spotland Road in the early hours of Saturday 5 July when two men dragged her into some bushes and raped her several times.
