New homes for Heywood
Date published: 11 July 2008
A new housing development is being planned in Heywood.
197 new homes will be built on the 13-acre Copper Wells site, where the former industrial warehouse 'Unity Mill' was demolished last month.
The site will consist of three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached homes, as well as townhouses.
The houses are to be built by Countryside Properties, whose sales director Martin Leggett said: "Copper Wells will offer high quality, well designed homes and we're sure it will prove very popular with local residents hoping to climb the property ladder."
