Rakewood Road
A 20mph speed limit is to be introduced on Rakewood Road in Littleborough.
The new limit comes as part of a shared space scheme for the road, which aims to improve pedestrian safety with the speed limit and rumble strips.
The road currently has no dedicated footpath on the south eastern section, despite a high volume of pedestrians using the road due to the close proximity of nearby leisure facilities and the attractive Hollingworth Lake.
Funds from Pennines Township have been agreed for the scheme.
