A man died in a collision with a lorry at the junction of Spotland Road, St Mary's Gate and Hunter's Lane
A man died in a collision with a lorry at around 4pm on Monday 12 February.
St Mary's Gate is closed in both directions between Whitworth Road/John Street and Newgate/College Road.
Police have confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation has been launched and anyone with any information or dash-cam footage is asked to contact police on 101 quoting the reference number 1293 12/02/18
