Date published: 05 January 2018
A thief in a red van has stolen builder Mohammed Irshad’s Toyota Hiace black work van.
Mr Irshad was working on Tennyson Street in the Deeplish area when the thieves arrived in a red transit van.
The keys were stolen from the property and the thieves made off with Mr Irshad’s van, which contained tools including a cutter, angle grinder and a Bosch Jacksaw.
Family member Attia Irshad said: “This has inconvenienced my dad and caused upset. We are offering a reward if the van is found.”
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “We were called at 4.30pm to reports of a burglary whilst the victim was working at the scene.
“The offender approached and stole the keys to the van before driving off with it.”
