Suspended Headteacher and Deputy will not return
Date published: 08 July 2008
Both the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher at All Saints CE Primary School, who were suspended earlier this year, will not be returning to the school.
They have decided to leave the school to pursue other interests and opportunities.
Sue Brown, Head of Schools at Rochdale Council said: "Our top priority is to continue to ensure that the education and welfare of the pupils is of the very best standard. Rochdale Borough Council is working closely with the governing body and Manchester Church of England Diocese to have appropriate management arrangements in place for September."
For the past few months, Mr Lee has been Acting Head and will remain in post until a permanent Headteacher has been appointed.
Ms Brown continued: "Mr Lee has brought stability to the school during this difficult period and ensured that the pupils continue to make good progress.”
Former Headteacher Grace Krzempek said : “After spending 12 years in industry and 17 in education the time is now right for me to explore career opportunities in line with my personal interests. This in turn will give me the opportunity to spend more quality time with family members who now require an increasing amount of support and care.”
Margaret Smith, the ex-Deputy Headteacher, has left to pursue a new career. She intends to go into business with a colleague of hers. She will be an ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) coach for parents, children and adults. She also intends to deliver teacher training for Local Authorities and schools, putting on ADHD awareness days and parent workshops.
She said: “All Saints’ is a wonderful school, church and community”. She said she “will really miss the children, parents and staff", and she knows that "the school will go from strength to strength.”
