Boots employee wins regional award

An employee at Boots' town centre store has won a regional award for customer care.

Lisa Jacques won the Customer Care Award for the Store, the Area and the Region after 21 customers left positive comments about her over a one month period on the company's website.

The comments included: “The girl who served me was very friendly and polite”, “She gave me good advice and made me feel at ease when choosing some new products” and “She was very friendly and had a big smile on her face when she served me.”

Boots has also made a major commitment to Rochdale by investing millions of pounds revitalising their town centre store.

The business has made extensive improvements to their store in the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre including a new ceiling, camera system, fixtures and a brand new opticians. The pharmacy has been refitted and staff areas have been extensively refurbished to improve the working environment.

Store manager Mike Webster said: “We are very pleased to be contributing towards the vitality of Rochdale town centre and look forward to a vibrant and long-lasting future here."

Rochdale Town Centre Management has thanked Boots for investing in Rochdale and hope that their partnership continues.
