Royds Street death no longer treated as murder

The two men who had been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in Royds Street, Turf Hill, have been released without charge.
The death of a 40-year old man is no longer being treated as suspicious by police. The results of a post mortem examination were inconclusive, but further tests are still being carried out.
The body was found shortly before 9pm on Thursday (3 July).
The 26-year-old man and 36-year old man who had been under arrest have now been released from custody.
