Urban music artist Kris Evans' debut single 'N.U.M.B' has been nominated for 'Best Unsigned Single' in the 2017 Best of British 'Unsigned Music Awards'.

'N.U.M.B', which has rock and blues influences, is one of 10 tracks currently fighting to win the title which the public can vote for until Sunday (29 October).

Kris is no stranger to the music scene having auditioned for The X-Factor in 2011 with his band, The Mend, who also reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012.

Kris, from Middleton, said: "It's fantastic that a self-written song so close to my heart has been selected as one of the final ten from the huge number of amazing tracks that were considered.”

“I hope that you enjoy listening to 'N.U.M.B' as much as I do performing it. If you could take a moment to vote for my song, then I'd be hugely grateful.”

Kris has a busy month ahead; as well as the release of his debut single, he is set to perform in New York in early November after winning the international talent competition, ‘Project: Aloft Star’.

Kris was named as the UK winner of the closely fought contest between an array of talented, up and coming musicians, also receiving a £5,000 cash prize. He will now go on to perform in the US alongside other winners from across the globe.

Votes for 'N.U.M.B' can be placed until Sunday (29 October) at:
