Beech House leavers enjoy prom night
Date published: 02 July 2008
Pupils and staff from Beech House School enjoyed a successful leavers prom at the Broadfield Hotel on Friday night (27 June).
Guests pulled up at the Broadfield in fancy cars, old and new, before posing for glamorous photographs in the Nightingale Suite at the hotel.
Chairman of the Friends of Beech House, Alison Unwin said: "The girls looked stunning in their Prom dresses and the head boy Adam Streek flouted the more traditional approach and looked very dashing in his kilt."
The event was organised by Year 11 students Abi Hindle and Frankie Meeks, while Sam Brand and Savanah Graziano were voted Prom King and Queen.
The room was decorated with red and silver balloons to represent the school colours, with matching table and bar decorations and a cake to celebrate the occasion.
Guests enjoyed a five course meal before a speech from Deputy Head Teacher Mrs White and a DJ set.
