Rochdale RSPCA urgently require £5,000 for a new van.
The old van, a Fiat Ducato, broke down in July. The charity are desperate to replace the van, which is primarily used for all collections and deliveries for their 11 charity shops, collecting animal food, hay and sawdust and taking waste to the tip.
Since the van broke down, the charity has been relying on a loaned van, which they will not have for much longer.
A spokesperson for the RSPCA said: “The profit from our charity shops goes straight to the Animal Centre in Rochdale, so we desperately need a replacement van, otherwise we will really struggle.”
