Work on Baillie Street and lower Yorkshire Street nears completion

Date published: 13 July 2017

Works on the new paving along Baillie Street and lower Yorkshire Street are nearing completion.

The re-paving in natural stone is complete and the carriageway resurfacing will begin shortly.

All works and installation of street furniture will be complete by mid-July.

The bollards will be installed and commissioned in August when access to this area for service vehicles will be restricted to between 6pm and 10am to make the street safer and more attractive to shoppers and visitors.
