BMW failed to stop for police and crashed in Shawclough

Junction of Shawclough Road and Market Street at Healey Corner, Shawclough
Following an 11 mile police pursuit, a silver BMW was involved in a collision with a road sign on Shawclough Road, Rochdale resulting in a man in his 40s being taken to hospital.
Shortly after 11.35pm on Friday 7 July 2017 a car failed to stop for police on Oldham Road in Ashton Under Lyne.
A police spokesperson said: “A pursuit took place and a silver BMW was involved in a collision with a road sign on Shawclough Road, Rochdale."
