Kings Division Army Band joined by Rochdale Music Service Brass Band

The Kings Division Army Brass Band were joined by Rochdale Music Service Brass Band in the magnificent surroundings of Rochdale Town Hall on Sunday 18 June.

The professional musicians performed a skilled rendition of brass band music followed by the amateur group played who played their pieces with skill and to the great enjoyment of the audience.

However, the climax of the evening came when the two bands joined together – allowing the young musicians to play with their professional counterparts.

A spokesperson said: "The Great Hall was just the setting for a prestigious musical event. One, which in this case, a great many young people, will never forget.

"The whole event was enjoyed by everyone, audience and musicians alike."
