Woman rescued from house fire on Hollin Lane

A woman was rescued from a bungalow on Hollin Lane, Middleton on Thursday after a fire started in the living room.
The woman was given oxygen therapy.
Firefighters from Heywood and Blackley tackled the fire using a hose reel while wearing breathing apparatus.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
