Man taken to hospital after Mercedes collides with wall

A man was taken to Royal Oldham Hospital for assessment after a car collided with a wall at the junction of College Road and Holmes Road on Tuesday.
It is understood the car collided with the wall of the building formerly known as ‘The Merry Monk’ pub.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “We were called at 5.40pm to reports of a collision involving a silver Mercedes C220 and a wall on College Road, Rochdale. A man was taken to hospital for assessment.”
