Skiing Championships

The National Schools Indoor Skiing Championships were held in Manchester this Year. Daisi Daniels was a Gold medal winner, with Beech House School being placed third.

Swimming

The Prep Swimming Team of Zak Gorton- Rigg, Harry Meekings, Charlotte Tilley and Charlie Egerton swam in the National Primary Schools Swimming finals held at The Pons Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield.

Their time of 1.12.52 was nearly three seconds faster than the time they produced when they were third in the North West Finals last term.

When 0.01 of a second makes all the difference in the rankings, they were placed a credible 22nd in the Country.

In the Rochdale Swimming League the girls team of Lauren El-Hage, Gabby El-Hage, Charlotte Tilley, Pheobe Stephens and Wendi Zang were runners up. The boys finished in third place.

The team were: Rico Bernales, Sami Hasan, Joe Bingham, Charlie Egerton, Alexander Zebedee-Howard and Zak Gorton-Rigg.

Jake Hajian became the school’s Top Trumps Champion.

Awards

In the Senior Department, the Bronze award went to Grace Egerton, Charlotte Higginson and Mahed Farooq.

Silver Awards have been achieved by Seveeba Mahmood.

Issabella Chapman, Nina Zebedee-Howard relieved their Gold. Diamond awards have been earned by Holly Gaucas, Sophie Wilkinson and Anisha Mahmood.

Humna Munir and Anisha Mahmood have gained their Platinum Award.

In the Upper Prep Wendi Zhang has earned her Sapphire Award for 150 House Points.

House Point Totals are: Saturn 28, Jupiter 27, Neptune 24 and Mercury 21.
