Basement fire on Freehold Street

Freehold Street, Rochdale
A fire in the basement of a detached property on Freehold Street, Rochdale on Sunday (25 June) was understood to be accidental.
Three crews from Rochdale and Heywood attended and fire fighters used breathing apparatus, hose reels, lighting, a specialist fan and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke.
