A wide variety of stalls offered tempting goods including Mrs Barber's Bakery, The Body Shop at Home, Temple Spa Skincare Products, Sugar Chic Fudge and Busy Beans Coffee, a mobile coffee bar offering the finest quality hand-crafted drinks.
For 2017 and 2018, the committee’s chosen charity is Springhill Hospice.
Paul Kettle, chairman of the carnival committe, said: "We are proud to raise valuable funds for such a fantastic charity which touches the lives of so many in our local community".
Milnrow Parish C of E Primary, Moorhouse Primary, Crossgates Primary, Newhey Community Primary and St Thomas C of E Primary schools supported the event along with Abracadabra and Milnrow Pre-School. It was also a very special day for Milnrow Pre-School Playgroup as they also celebrated the group's 50th year anniversary with a tea party in the Memorial Park.
