Khurham Saleem charged after two men stabbed on Ashfield Road

Khurham Saleem (30/05/1987) has been charged after two men were stabbed in on Ashfield Road on Tuesday (13 June).

Saleem, also known as Shezad, has been charged with two counts of assault, taking a vehicle without consent and driving with no insurance.

Police were called at around 12.55am on Tuesday to reports that two men aged 26 and 31 had been stabbed on Ashfield Road, Rochdale.

Both men were taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary and the 26-year-old man was later discharged.

Saleem has been remanded into custody having appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning (15 June).

He is next due to appear at Minshull Crown Court on Thursday 13 July.
